Lincoln Electric System is requesting bids to provide grading of ditches, CMP culvert installation, and crushed rock surfacing of a substation pad as per LES Specifications. Successful bidder will be required to complete (1) the LES Standard Construction Contract; 2) furnish proof of insurance with coverage specified in the Contract by an insurance company licensed to do business in Nebraska and rated at least B+ in A.M. Bests Rating. Certificate must show LES listed as additional insured for general liability and include waiver of subrogation; 3) furnish a performance and labor and material payment bond from a surety licensed to do business in Nebraska and also rated at least B+ in A.M. Communications and technical questions concerning this Bid shall be submitted using the LES
Online Procurement System. This scope of work includes the grading of ditches, CMP culvert installation, and crushed rock surfacing of
a substation pad as shown on the associated drawings. The contractor will also be responsible for
procuring all associated materials. This scope and bid only covers Phase 1 of work shown on the
associated drawings and does NOT cover fence installation.
B. SITE BENCHMARK AND SITE LAYOUT
The Contractor is responsible for the accurate layout of the site and preservation of benchmarks and
monuments. The Contractor is responsible for all construction staking on this project. The site is located
approximately 0.42 miles south and 0.41 miles west of the intersection of North 56
th St. and Bluff Rd. in
Lincoln, NE.
