The City intends to select multiple firms/teams for the provision of the service(s) under this RFP. Work will be individually assigned by task order at the sole discretion of the City. For each project, the City shall discuss the nature and scope of the project/task order with the Contractor. The Contractor shall then furnish a Task Order Proposal in writing to the City's designee, for the City's review and approval, with a detailed scope of work, detailed cost estimate based on contract unit prices, Quality Control Plan, and estimated time for completion (schedule). The Task Order Proposal shall identify qualified staff who will personally perform the requested services and who will provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control. The services provided under these contracts will be assigned by Task Order. The selected firm shall, upon request from the City, submit a comprehensive scope of services and cost proposal for each engineering task assigned. The scope of services shall include all activities necessary to complete the assigned task, a schedule showing a timeline to implement each activity, a cost derivation for direct labor to provide professional services, projected costs for direct expenses such as travel, equipment rental, nonprofessional services, printing, etc., and proposed deliverables required to complete the task. A contract or contracts will be awarded to the offeror or offerors whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the City. The City may award multiple contracts for one or both service catagories. The City reserves the right to cancel the solicitation and make no award. The City reserves the right to inspect offeror's physical facilities prior to award to satisfy questions regarding the offeror's capabilities. The City further reserves the right to reject any proposal if the evidence submitted by, or investigations of, such offeror fails to satisfy the City that such offeror is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to provide the services and/or furnish the goods contemplated therein.
