Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in McCook, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

**As of June 28, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Bids will be received for asphalt milling, subgrade preparation and repaving of the streets. Also included as part of the project is the installation of handicap ramps at interjections. Bid as alternates with this is the milling and overlay of a portion of Norris Avenue and a portion of West "Q" Street. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, and shall be made payable to the City of McCook, Nebraska as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into contract to construct the project and give bond in the sum of the total contract amount for the construction of the project. Checks accompanying bids not accepted shall be returned to the bidders. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required for this project. No bid shall be withdrawn after opening the bids without the consent of the McCook City Council for a period of 45 days. The City of McCook reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
