Renovation of an educational facility in Pleasanton, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Project consists of: The Rough General Trade contractor shall provide the minor demolition for remodeling per demolition sheets; provide and install all concrete work beneath new walls; provide and install rough carpentry, metal fabrications, acoustic wall insulation, and thermal wall & roof insulation; provide and install all rough openings, backing, and blocking for mechanical, plumbing, and electrical equipment; provide and install markerboard and cabinet backing in walls per sheets A9.1 and A9.2; provide and install the basketball assembly. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess one or more of the following State of California contractors' license(s): B The Bidder's license(s) must remain active and in good standing throughout the term of the Contract. A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Pleasanton Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form and Proposal, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the District for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the Contract for the Work.
