Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Lake Arrowhead, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work consists of providing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, facilities, transportation and incidentals necessary to construct: Provide a preventative mechanical and chemical cleaning program per the Kyle Groundwater Lake Arrowhead Community Services District - Golf Course Well 5 Condition Assessment and Well Rehabilitation and Redevelopment Work Plan (Appendix A of these Specifications). including the following sequential: 1. Mobilization 2. Mechanical cleaning 3. Chemical cleaning (acid and biocide) 4. Chemical removal by focused intake pumping 5. Post-rehabilitation video survey 6. Interim well disinfection 7. Installation of new pumping equipment 8. Final disinfection and Bac-T testing 9. Startup testing 10. Demobilization and site cleanup All bids shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check, payable to the order of the District (Lake Arrowhead Community Services District), amounting to ten percent (10%) of the bid, or by a bond in said amount and payable to said District, signed by the bidder and a Corporate Surety, or by the bidder and two sureties who shall justify before any officer, competent to administer an oath, in double said amount and over and above all statutory exemption. Said check shall be forfeited or said bond shall become payable to said District in case the bidder depositing the same does not, within ten (10) calendar days after written notice, sign the Contract. Additional bond forms are available at the District office. All work shall be completed within Forty-five (45) calendar days after the date of Contract Notice to Proceed by the District. After all documents, bonds, and required support materials have been submitted as required by the project specifications, the District will issue a Notice to Proceed giving the Contractor ten (10) working days to start. This Notice to Proceed shall be delivered to the Contractor electronically, deposited in the United States mail or provided to the Contractor at the preconstruction conference at the latest. A preconstruction conference will be convened by the District regarding the project. It has been determined that the damage sustained by the District as a result of Contractor's breach of his agreement to complete work within the time agreed upon may result in damages of $250.00 per calendar day. As described in the Special Conditions, Part 11.0, "Liquidated Damages", are AS PART OF THIS NOTICE DECLARED TO THE CONTRACTOR.
