Road Reconstruction Projects In general, work consists pulverizing existing surface of up to four roads with re-lay and application of 3/4 " dense base to 3 inches, compact and grade the material. The four roads are: Pope Road north of County E to fire #N1478 (approx. 2700 LF); Schoohs Road (approx. 4300 LF); Pope Road south of County E (approx.. 6500 LF); and Stecks Road (approx. 6400 LF). Additionally, Pope Road north of County E and/or Schoohs road may also include fine grade, water, and compact of dense base course material and shoulder; double chip seal with MAC5(Hot) and 3/8" fractured stone, both lifts at 20' width on Pope Road and 18' width on Schoohs Road; grade shoulders and add 3/4" dense base course material for 2' shoulders. Work also includes traffic control; producing, furnishing, and placing all materials and incidentals necessary to complete the work. All Bids must be prepared on the Bid Form contained in the bidding documents and submitted in accordance with the Invitation to Bid. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Invitation to Bid. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities and irregularities therein, and further reserves the right to accept the bid or bids which best serves the interests of the Town of Lind.
