A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of Borough of Prospect Park, or negotiable U. S. Government Bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount of ten (10%) percent of the total of the Total Bid not to exceed $20,000 shall be submitted with each bid. Bids shall include a Consent of Surety obligating the issuing surety to provide the bidder, if awarded a contract for the Project, with performance and payment bonds as required by the Project Specifications. Bidders may deliver Bids to the drop-box located at the front of the building located on 106 Brown Avenue, Prospect Park New Jersey up until Thursday June 27th, 2024 at
12:00 P.M. Bidders are reminded that proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed opaque
envelope and the outside of the envelope shall bear the name, address and email address of the bidder as well as the indication, "NORTH 13
TH STREET AND PRESCOTT PLACE ROADWAY PRESERVATION PROJECT 16". It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure
that the bid is received on time. Neither the Borough, nor the Engineer will assume any responsibility for bids mis-mailed, misdelivered, or misdirected. Submit questions to the Engineer in writing for an interpretation and determination of the intent
of the Drawings and Specifications. Requests received by the Engineer after 5:00 PM on June 10, 2024,
may not be considered. No interpretations of the meaning of the Bidding Documents will be made
orally by the Engineer to any prospective bidder. The work contemplated under this Contract shall be completed within Thirty (30) consecutive calendar
days from the execution of the Contract, and in accordance with the terms thereof.
