Lincoln County is soliciting bids for overlaying 2.04 miles of North Beaver Creek Road Paving (County Road Number 602). The road is located near Newport, Oregon. Estimated Project cost is $417,390. Contract to be completed by September 13th, 2024. Anticipated Notice to Proceed date is August 14th, 2024. The bidder must comply as applicable with ORS 279C.800 through ORS279C.870 or 40 USC 276a. Each bidder must complete the Residency Statement included in the Bid Form. Bidders shall be currently registered with the Construction Contractors Board (CCB), holding the proper registration for the work contemplated herein, at the time of submittal. All Subcontractors participating in the project shall be similarly registered with the CCB at the time they propose to engage in subcontract work. The CCB registration requirements apply to all public works contracts unless superseded by federal law. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any bid not in conformity with the bid requirements, or the right to reject all bids if it is in the best interest of Lincoln County. Major Work consists of a Level 2, 2-Inch Overlay on North Beaver Creek Road (near Seal Rock, OR) on County Road Number 602, as per the (Modified) 00744 Specification which is made a part of this Contract from Station 0+00 to Station 108+00. This work also includes Milling/Grinding a Vertical Taper as indicated on the Plans at the Beginning and End Stations for approximately 120 feet. The vertical tapers will be milled/ground 2-inches deep at the Start/End Stations, and will reduce to 0-inches deep at 120 feet from the Start/End Stations, in order for the proposed Overlay to conform as required by the Engineer to the existing surface of the existing roadway. The vertical tapers shall be approved by the Engineer prior to paving mainline, to provide adequate conformance with the existing roadway surface at both abutting construction joints at the Start/End Stations, and such that proposed/existing surfaces of the travelled way are sufficiently flush.
