NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that electronic proposals will be received online only until 11 am, on August 6th, 2024, for City of Edina - Public Works Carwash. City of Edina - City of Edina Public Works Carwash 7450 Metro Blvd, Edina, MN 55439. Project includes replacement of existing HVAC unit and MEP work. The work shall consist of furnishing labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete HGAs design and specifications for this project. Bids will be considered via online submission. Site visits are required to be scheduled with Jon Darsow at: jdarsow@edinamn.gov. Before July 26th, 2024. Questions are due by July 26th, 2024, by the end of business day and the bid submittal deadline is August 6th, 2024 by 11:00 AM. The Edina City Council will meet on Tuesday August 20th, 2024 to consider said bids. PROJECT SUMMARY A. Project Includes: 1. Redesign of make-up air unit (MAU). 2. Upgrades to HVAC distribution. B. Work Included: Provide labor, materials, equipment, and services to fulfill the Contractor's obligations to complete Project within intent of Contract Documents. C. Construction Limits: Except as specifically indicated or as may be necessary to complete the Work under the Contract, activities of the Contract shall be limited to within the limits designated on Drawings. 1.4 PROJECT DELIVERY A. Bidding Method: Project will be competitively bid to invited prime contract bidders for a single stipulated sum contract. B. Construction Contract: Construction will be accomplished under a single Prime Contract. C. Subcontractors: Do not award work to Subcontractor without prior approval of Owner and Architect. Approval will not be given until Contractor submits List of Subcontractors containing such information as Owner and Architect may require concerning the proposed Subcontractor and scope of subcontract.
