Resurfacing of American Way and Independence Street The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause; such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes. Requirements for conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract. Contractor must display his contractor's license number prominently on the outside of the envelope DESCRIPTION: The proposed improvements consist of 16-inch thick base reconstruction with a 2-inch thick asphaltic concrete surface. The scope of work to be completed on each street segment is detailed in the Base and Surfacing and Summary of Drainage Work sheets included in the project plans. The intent of this project is to match existing widths, grades, and other geometric design parameters. The only work to be accomplished beyond the limts of the existing roadway crown consists of spot roadside drainage improvements.
