The Town of Pelican is seeking bids for the following projects: Project 1: Hay Meadow Road Located on Hay Meadow Road from the intersection of USH 8 to the intersection of Clausen Road. Project length is approximately 8,782' long. Pulverize existing roadway 20' wide. Grade, water, and compact to a width of 24'. Project 2: Old Farm Road Located on Old Farm Road and limits will be marked by the Town. Project is approximately 1,425' long. Furnish, haul, place, and compact 6" of 3" Breaker Run 24' wide. Furnish, haul, place, grade, and compact 10" of 1 1/4 " base course over 3" Breaker Run and Geo mat. Project 3: Lake Julia Road LRIP Located at the intersection of Lake Julia Road and CTH G and going West approximately 500'. Place 3" of 1 1/4 " base aggregate onto the existing roadway. Pulverize existing asphalt and base course 21' wide. Fine grade, water, and compact base to accept 21' wide new HMA and 2' CABC shoulders on each side. Pave 3" 4LT 58-28S HMA in two lifts. Apply tack coat as necessary between lifts. Place 2' wide 3/4 " base aggregate shoulder on both sides of the road. This project is LRIP funded. Provide an engineer's certificate. Project 4: River Bend Road Located at approximately 750' East of the intersection between River Bend Road and Windquist Road. Remove the existing asphaltic surface via milling to a depth of 2.5". Prep the milled surface for new pavement. Pave one lift of 2.5" 4LT 58-28S. Apply tack coat as necessary. Project 5: Town Sand Shed Entrance Located in front of the Town's Sand Shed. Excavate 6" of existing material and place 3" of new 1 1/4 " base course. Fine grade, water, and compact new base to promote positive drainage and to match existing adjoining pavement. Pave 3" of 4LT 58-28S in two lifts. Apply tack coat as necessary. The Town has the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
