Rehabilitation of Substation Roofs and Enclosures. Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: This Contract is for furnishing and installing ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber (EPDM) roofing systems at 66 Astoria/24th Avenue Power Substation, 18-58 Street Power Substation, and 137 Jamaica Avenue/120th Street Power Substation. The Work for this Contract includes removal and replacement of three existing roofing systems in their entirety with complete ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber (EPDM) roofing systems, which shall include, drainage system, skylights, and clerestory windows. The Project also includes the repair of existing roof slabs and parapets; the removal, replacement, and rebuilding of deteriorated areas of brick walls; installation of expansion joints; and the replacement of roof access ladders, access doors, roof curbs, exhaust fans, ducts, and vent pipes. This is an A + B Bidding Contract.
