The Redevelopment Area is on the Exterior of the Building at Ground Level. It is on University Property, Adjacent to the Building Along the North Side of Portage Avenue and West Side of Langside Street. The Scope Includes: 1. Supply and Installation of Soil I.e., Planting Medium and Fine Grading: The Successful Bidder Will Be Subject to the Stipulated Quality Assurance, Waste Management and Disposal as Well as Delivery Storage and Handling. The Details of the Products: Topsoil, Peatmoss, Compost, Sand, Fertility, and Planting Medium Have Been Provided in the Attached Documents. The Excavation Details With Regards to the Preparation of Existing Grade, Placing, and Spreading of Planting Medium as Well as Finish Grading. There is No Topsoil Available and Therefore Needs to Be Imported. 2. Supply and Installation of Vegetation I.e., Trees, Shrubs, and Groundcovers, Including Planting Accessories: The Successful Bidder Will Be Subject to the Stipulated Source Quality Control, Submittal Requirements, Shipment and Pre-planting Care, Warranty of Nursery Stock, and Replacements. The Details of the Products: Plant Material and Other Material as Mentioned in Attached Documents. The Execution Details Include Planning Time and Workmanship, Excavation, Planting, Tree Support, Pruning, and Mulching. The Plant Schedule Identifying the Flora and Fauna Has Been Provided in the Attached Drawings. 3. Removal of Existing Concrete Slab and Providing Waterproofing Insulation as Required and Identified. 4. Protection of All Surrounding Infrastructure Onsite as Identified and Appropriate From Project Work. The Successful Bidder's Responsibilities Include: 1. Cost of Testing the Planting Medium. 2. Street/lane Closures as Required. The Owner is Responsible for Any Plan Approval From the City as Required.
