The City invites bids from qualified suppliers for the completion of removal and pruning of hazard trees in natural areas across the City, including emergency tree maintenance and hazard tree abatement. Included in the scope of work is the control of invasive trees through herbicide treatment in natural areas across the City of Mississauga. The scope of work includes tree pruning, tree removal and wildlife tree creation, herbicide application to cut stems and emergency tree work on a provisional basis. It is the City's intent to award this contract to one bidder for a duration of two (2) years with the option to extend for up to an additional one year term. Mandatory requirements are listed below: Bidders must have a minimum of five (5) years experience with urban tree maintenance in natural areas; Bidders must own or have exclusive use of the minimum mandatory equipment as per Section 9.5, Appendix C - SOW; Bidders must have a minimum of two fully equipped crews as defined in Section 7.4, Appendix C - SOW; Question Deadline: Tue Jun 18, 2024 12:00:00 PM (EDT) Duration in months: 60
