Remodeling of a fire / police facility in Brownstown, Indiana. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 3,210-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility.
Construction shall be contained to the site and building structure as the property will be vacated by the users during this period. It is desired for the vacancy period by the user to be as short of a period as is practical for the contractor. Thus, the user will remain on site during the initial phase of the contract while shop drawings and submittals are reviewed/approved and long-lead items are procured. In your bid, please indicate the total number of days required from Notice to Proceed to complete the project and the total number of days required for the tenant to vacate the building for construction. The Contractor to Whom the Work is Awarded Will Be Required to Furnish, Before Commencing Work, a Performance and Payment Bond in the Amount Equal to the Bid Price of the Contract Awarded to Said Contractor, and Certificates of All Insurance Required by Specifications. The Bids Shall Be Lump Sum for All Work Called for in the Contract Specifications and Submitted on the Forms Prescribed Including the State Board of Accounts Form No. 96 (Revised 2005). The Ambulance Authority Board and the Board of Commissioners of Jackson County Reserve the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and the Right to Waive Any Informality in the Bidding Process.
