Site work, renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in Palatine, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a 4,030-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

Project consists of partial demolition to construct a new administrative addition to the existing building. New scope includes excavation, site utilities, concrete and asphalt paving, building concrete, masonry, structural steel, miscellaneous steel, carpentry, roofing, aluminum systems and glazing, doors and frames and hardware, finishes, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, & fire protection. Alternates include renovation to living quarters kitchen/dining, as well as locker room/toilet-shower rooms. An additional alternate will upgrade the building generator to serve the entire building. The Letting of This Contract is Subject to Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 Ilcs 130/1-12). The Village of Palatine Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Any Informalities in Bidding, and to Accept Any Proposal Which the Village Council Deems Most Favorable to the Interests of the Village. Each Proposal Shall Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bank Draft in an Amount Equal to Ten Percent of the Base Bid, Payable to the Village of Palatine, as a Guarantee That if the Bid is Accepted, the Bidder Will Execute a Contract and Furnish a Contract Bond as Set Forth in the Project Documents. In Case the Bidder Fails to File Such Contract and Bond, the Amount of the Check or Bid Security Shall Be Forfeited to the Village of Palatine as Liquidated Damages.
