Responses to this Request for Guaranteed Maximum Price REQUEST FOR GUARANTEED MAXIMUM PRICE PROPOSAL FOR GENERAL CONTRACTING SERVICES: LEARNING & ENGAGEMENT CENTER INTERIOR RENOVATIONS The Newark Museum of Art was negatively impacted by the coronavirus. The project involves the interior renovation of specific public spaces in the Museum Learning & Engagement Center. Spanning four floor levels, the work generally includes: Level -B improved stair access to South Wing Lobby and upgraded interior finishes; Level 1 improved accessibility at entry and interior stairs, new HVAC and upgraded assembly space; Levels M & 2 updated finishes and lighting. Interior renovations will occur during Museum operational hours, with Museum guest safety and protection of existing Museum assets of primary importance. In compliance with procedures established through the American Rescue Plan Act, Federal Uniform Grant Guidelines, New Jersey OMB Circular 15-08, and the Newark Museum of Art, a Request for Guaranteed Maximum Price Proposal for General Contracting Services: NMOA is not responsible for late delivery by any courier or the US Postal Service. Respondents will be required to comply with numerous State and Federal requirements regarding, among others, competitive bidding, prevailing wages (NJ Prevailing Wage Act), and Affirmative Action. Each Respondent must strictly comply with all requirements established for a responsive bid as set forth in the Request for Proposal, including the submission of both Payment Bond and Performance Bond. The Museum reserves the right to reject any and all responses, if deemed to be in the best interests of the Museum. Notice is hereby given to all Respondents that any response deemed by the Museum to be incomplete, non-responsive or otherwise deficient will be rejected by the Museum without further notice.
