Harsha Lake Bridge Repair The estimated construction magnitude is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. NAICS Code selected is 238910 - Site Preparation Contractors. The Size Determination is $19M. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business and w ill be awarded based on lowest total price. Central Contractor Registration and ORCA are now available through the System for Award Management (SAM) available at w w w .sam.gov. This solicitation w ill be available on the web only. Faxed, telephoned, or mailed requests for this solicitation w ill not be honored. To download the solicitation for this project, contractors are required to register at SAM.gov. SAM.gov is free of charge to registrants and users. Block 12A: In lieu of both Performance and Payment Boards, per FAR 52.228-13 Alternative Payment Protections (2000) and FAR 28.102-1(b), only a Payment Bond or Irrevocable Letter of Credit is required. A Performance Bond is not required. All questions shall be submitted by 14 June 2024 at 11:00 AM Eastern Time. The Contractor shall begin performance within 10 calendar days and complete it within 120 calendar days *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. This project consists of a base bid to install a government furnished contractor installed (GFCI) horizontal lifeline fall protection system on the catwalk under the control tower service bridge at William H. Harsha Lake in Batavia Township, OH. The contractor is responsible for fabricating and installing the steel assemblies for the lifeline connection points. There are 24 connection points which consist of 5 different types of connection configurations. The contractor is also responsible for all materials and labor associated with the installation of the government furnished contractor installed (GFCI) horizontal lifeline system. The horizontal lifeline system has already been acquired by the site staff and will be provided to the contractor for installation (GFCI). The final system will consist of a total of 680 LF of lifeline, made up of two 160 LF systems and two 180 LF systems. There are no options to the contract. Work will begin within 14 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) and will conclude 120 calendar days after the NTP.
