Exterior Masonry / Parapets Value $3,000,001 to $10,000,000 Performance Period: 545 Continuous Calendar Days (See Page CC-3 and Appendix B) Liquidated Damages: Fifteen Hundred ($1,500) Dollars per Continuous Calendar Day and as set forth in the Construction Contract Page CC-3 and Appendix B. A Bid Bond along with its Power Attorney prepared on the form attached to the Construction Contract as Appendix C or a Certified Check of the Bidder for five (5%) percent of the Bid Amount must accompany the Lump Sum Bid Form (Appendix A) Pursuant to the SCA's authorizing legislation, contracts will only be awarded to contractors prequalified by the SCA. If the Bidder is not prequalified at the time of the bid opening its bid will not be accepted. Please check all three (3) lists (disqualified, suspended, and otherwise ineligible) when conducting a search to obtain the complete prequalification status of a firm appearing on the SCA's Website at: Online. Bidders can ensure their eligibility for contract award by verifying that they are currently prequalified. All inquiries regarding prequalification status should be directed to the SCA's Prequalification Dept. at (718)472-8777. The SCA, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to allow the apparent low bidder up to five (5) business days following SCA's notification, to meet the Solicitation's Apprenticeship Program requirements.
