1. Construction of precast well house with piping. 2. Construction of well site grading, access road, and construction pad. 3. Furnishing and installation of raw watermain line. 4. Furnishing and installation of electrical and controls for the well pump. 5. Coordination with contractor for Contract 1 regarding the installation of well pump and motor furnished under a separate well drilling contract. All work under the Contract must be substantially complete within 330 days of issuance of Notice to Proceed and Ready for Final Payment within 360 days of Notice to Proceed. Each bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing the contractor's license and bid security. The bid security must be in a sum equal to ten percent of the full amount of the bid and must be in the form of a bidder's bond. A bidder's bond must be executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety, conditioned that if the principal's bid is accepted and the contract awarded to the principal, the principal, within ten days after notice of the award, shall execute a contract in accordance with the terms of the bid and the bid bond and any condition of the governing body. If a successful bidder does not execute a contract within the ten days allowed, the bidder's bond must be forfeited to the governing body, and the project awarded to the next lowest responsible bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby. In the evaluation of the bids, the Owner may, within funding limitations, give preference up to the amount of 5% of the lowest total bid, to qualified Indian-owned firms. The estimated magnitude of construction for this project is approximately 1.0 acres of ground disturbance and an estimated price range of between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
