Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a 4,500-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The project scope includes constructing a 4,500 square foot wood framed shop building. The construction of the building will include a concrete slab on grade, wood frame construction, wood trusses and metal roofing & siding, aluminum clad wood windows, lay-in acoustical ceilings and metal liner panel, gas fired unit heaters, new electrical power supply and lighting systems. Bids will be received as follows: Concrete Carpentry HVAC Plumbing (to include septic) Electrical Plans, specifications, and other bidding documents may be obtained from the architect office or the architect. Bid documents will be available after 8:00 AM Friday, June 7, 2024 Plans, specifications, and other bidding documents may be obtained electronically from the architect. There is not a fee to obtain the documents electronically. The bidder must inform the architect if drawings a re acquired electronically to ensure inclusion in bidders list and distribution of additional contract documents including addendums. Bidder's that acquire documents electronically without informing the architect in writing will not be allowed to submit a bid. No proposal shall be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at lea st 5% of the amount of the amount bid, payable to the owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and a performance and payment bond in the amount of the contract price within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the owner as liquidated damages. Prequalification of bidders will not be required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or a Il bids, waive or not waive irregularities in the bids received and to accept any proposal which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
