Furnish all necessary materials, tools, equipment and labor for Pump Station 240 Rehabilitation located at 41 Harrow Ln, Pawleys Island, South Carolina 29585. All work shall be in accordance specifications listed in the Bid Package, and the recommended practices of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SC DHEC). Every request for such information should be in writing to GCWSD, PO Box 2730, Pawleys Island, SC 29585, or by email to michaely@gcwsd.com. To be given consideration, such request must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of 7 Bids. Contractor shall remove existing discharge piping and placement of new, above ground discharging piping and valves. Drawing is attached on similar configuration of new pipe arrangement. (Illustration only) Contractor shall provide all Materials, Pipes, Valves and parts necessary for the project. For the pump basin, Contractor shall: o Grout Fill Existing Discharge Holes. o Core Wet Well Top o Supply & Install New Offset Flange Fittings. o Supply & Install New Stainless Steel (SS) Vertical Flanged Piping. The owner will provide pump station bypass for the duration of the project. The owner will provide pumps, pump base L's, and guide rails for the pump basin. The owner will provide electrical connections for the pumps to the control panel. The owner will clean the pump basin before the start of the project. Contractor shall perform All excavation to existing force main. Contractor shall Tie into existing force main and abandon in place of existing valve pit or arrangement. Contractor shall furnish and install (2) Check Valves, (2) Plug Valves and (1) Bypass hookup complete with plug valve. Lugged body valves shall mount to the pipeline flanges with bolts only. Contractor must ensure that the valve, the pipeline and the mating connections are aligned and centered Contractor shall supply Complete Drawing of New Piping Layout
