This project involves installing two (2)-65-LF of 48-inch Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) encased within 66-inch steel casing pipe. Specific work items involved in the execution of the project include, but are not limited to, jack and boring and installing stormwater pipes underneath an active CSX railroad. Question Deadline Mar 12, 2025 at 5:00 PM The CSX Drainage Improvement project is federally funded project, located between Main Road, Savannah Highway, and the greenway. This project involves installing two (2)-65-LF of 48-inch Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) encased within 66-inch steel casing pipe. Specific work items involved in the execution of the project include, but are not limited to, jack and boring and installing stormwater pipes underneath an active CSX railroad. Coordination with CSX will be required to gain access to the construction site and throughout the project duration using a CSX employed flagger. The contractor will be required to carry railroad insurance and agree to the CSX Encroachment Agreement (see Schedule A) in Appendix D. All reimbursements or costs associated with CSX / Contractor Encroachment Agreement shall be inclusive to the bid item numbers listed.
