Funding for this project is being made available through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The Town of Enfield is seeking a Contractor to provide sanitary sewer pump station rehabilitation at the Sparkle Street Pump Station located at 16 Sparkle Street. A. 16 Sparkle Street: Replace the existing duplex sewer ejector pump system, steel pump station with two new pumps, slide rails, and all appurtenances inside a new precast concrete wet well. Install new ultrasonic level sensor with a pressure sensor and backup floats. Add a new precast concrete valve vault adjacent to the wet well with connection to the existing 4-inch force main. Temporary bypass pumping will be required during construction. The electrical service equipment will be replaced in its entirety with a new 100-amp, 208-volt, three-phase service consisting of an in-line meter socket with integral main breaker, a 100-amp automatic transfer switch, a 100-amp manual transfer switch, and a 100-amp main lug main distribution panel. All equipment will be NEMA-3R rated. The manual transfer switch will have Cam-Lok style connectors in the bottom of the cabinet to allow for connection of a portable generator. The main panel will have branch breakersto suit the new pumps, controls, generator accessories, and a service receptacle. A new diesel-fired, 20-kW, 208-volt, three-phase generator will be provided. The generator will have a critical-level sound attenuating weather enclosure and a basemounted fuel tank sized for 24 hours of operation at full load. Outdoor-rated LED lighting will be installed on the new rain canopy with a switch mounted in the station control panel. Telemetry for alarm annunciation will be provided by SmartSights WIN-911 system. Town staff has requested that the phone line and auto-dialer at the station remain as a backup. Remove existing generator; provide a rain cover over the electrical panels; relocate antennae tower; bury above-grade gas line; tree removal; install new fence and gates; install 8 gravity sewer, precast manhole, and 4 force main; and repave driveway. B. There are three (3) Additive Alternates: i. Remove and dispose existing buried sewer ejector pump system and all appurtenances. ii. Install rain cover over electrical panels. iii. Install flow meter.
