The Project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials, and performing all work necessary for construction and installation of the following: water tower improvements and valve vault replacement; miscellaneous appurtenances; remove and replace surfacing; fencing; seeding; and all other work and appurtenances necessary to complete the construction items as shown on the plans and specified herein. Direct all questions to Chad Lawson at clawson@hwlochner.com. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with add alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the Owner. The bidder to whom a Contract for work is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Statutory Bond executed on the specified forms and acceptable to the Owner, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Document Note: Unless stated otherwise, all orders placed are non-refundable.
