Cosumnes Community Services District is seeking sealed proposals from interested monument builders with experience in the design and execution of monuments at the Elk Grove Regional Veterans Memorial. The Cosumnes Community Services District, in collaboration with the Cosumnes Legacy Foundation, is inviting monument builders and artist teams to submit a proposal for the Elk Grove Regional Veterans Memorial Monument Wall project. The Cosumnes Legacy Foundation has supported quality of life services for residents. The foundation's mission is to further a legacy of community enrichment through the support of parks, recreation, fire protection and emergency medical care. Project Site The Elk Grove Regional Veterans Memorial is located within Elk Grove Park (9950 Elk Grove Florin Road) to the north of the White Diamond ball field. Phase 1 of the project was completed in 2019 which included construction of a decomposed granite trail, flagpole, and a large bronze colored concrete star. The second phase of the project was completed in 2022 and included concrete paving, benches and a paver patio. Phase 3 of the project includes building a granite tile wall that surrounds the circular patio area.
