The project includes renovations at the Peace at Home Family Shelter facility to finish out an existing storage space with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. All Questions should be submitted to WER Architects via email to CA@werarch-nwa.com no later than Monday, July 8, 2024. Each bid exceeding $50,000 shall be accompanied by a cashier's check from a bank doing business in the State of Arkansas or a corporate bid bond in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount bid. In the event a bidder opts to submit a cashier's check for a bid bond, the actual physical cashier's check shall be delivered to WER Architects prior to the deadline. A one hundred percent (100%) performance and payment bond is required with the contract awarded. A State of Arkansas Contractor's License is required for all bids exceeding $50,000 and license shall be valid at the time of bid deadline. Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated 22-9-203 The owner encourages all qualified small, minority and women business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. Also, the owner encourages all general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority and women business enterprises. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject bids, and postpone the award of any Contract for a period which shall not exceed beyond ninety (90) days from the bid opening date.
