Pond and Entry for the Monroe County Conservation District The project will be awarded on or about July 19, 2024. Question Deadline 07/09/2024 at 4:00 PM ET, Location: online portal. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified check, bank treasurer's check, bank cashier's check, or an irrevocable letter of credit or bid bond in an amount equal to not less than 10% of the Base Bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds from an acceptable surety company in the amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the estimated contract amounts. An acceptable surety company is any one included in the latest issue of the U.S. Treasury Department Circular 570 listing. The successful bidders shall be required to enter into written contract(s) in accordance with contract documents available from the Architect. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The project will require all Contractors to abide by the Pennsylvania Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination. Construction is scheduled to begin on or about August 5, 2024 subject to all necessary permits being issued. The Monroe County Conservation District reserves the right to reject any or all bids received, to waive any informalities or irregularities in bidding, and to accept bids and award contracts in the best interests of the Monroe County Conservation District.
