Request to establish a pool of architects, engineers, designers, and other professional consultants on an as needed basis for atlantic county facilities projects. The following is a list of the professional and administrative services the Consultant may be required to provide for a project specific RFP. Additional and/or other tasks may also be required. 06/28/2024 12:00 PM EDT Bond Notes: If a bid security is required with the bid, the bidder must upload a copy of the certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total price bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00, payable unconditionally to the County of Atlantic. The original document must be received by the County of Atlantic Purchasing Office no later than 5 business days after the close of bids. The Bidder that is awarded a contract shall, simultaneously with the delivery of the executed contract, submit an executed performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the acceptable bid as security for the faithful performance of this contract. The surety on such bond or bonds shall be a duly authorized surety company authorized to issue performance bonds in the State of New Jersey Owner Rights: The County reserves the right to reject all bids, when the County determines that rejection of all bids is advisable to the extent that rejection of all bids is permitted under the provisions of the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law. In addition, the County reserves the right to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions in accordance with law . Contract Term: The A & E Pool contract will be for the term effective September 1, 2024, through August 31, 2025. The term for any project specific contract awarded under this A & E Pool will be established on an individual basis and extended past the end date of this A & E Pool term as needed. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
