On behalf of Zagime Anishinabek, we invite your firm to submit product information on suitable treatment systems to provide treated water which meets or exceeds the Canadian Drinking Water Quality Guidelines. The process addition will form part of the proposed water treatment plant upgrades for the community. Enclosed are raw water quality analyses of the source water. The Project Management Team is currently completing the selection of the treatment equipment that will include biological/membrane treatment, followed by media based pH adjustment equipment for this project and require information on applicable systems that you represent. Your submission should, at minimum, include the following information: process description and schematic flow diagram, including backwash requirements; size of unit(s) complete with sketches; equipment included; special features and / or technology utilized; special design requirements; scope of supply to be included by others; realistic, itemized operation and maintenance costs; budgetary system costs (Cdn $), including set up, commissioning and training; comparison of raw and treated water quality from similar completed projects, with focus on iron, manganese, ammonia, TDS, TOC, DOC, colour, turbidity, and pH; provide a list and brief overview (including size and flow rate) of the last five municipal water treatment plant projects of a similar nature; provide information on company structure (i.e. location of manufacturing centre and service centres for both water treatment system and PLC controls / programming); The units should include standard analytical equipment deemed appropriate for the process. Your submission should assume the use of Allen Bradley equipment. Include integration with the plant PLC as part of your submission.
