Des Moines Public Schools (DMPS), pursuant to Iowa Code Chapter 26A, will be publishing a request for statements of qualifications (RFQ) for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services to provide Preconstruction and Construction services for the Hoover High School New Running Track and Field project. The project is located at 4800 Aurora Ave, Des Moines, IA 50310. The chosen CMAR will be expected to provide all preconstruction, construction, and post-construction services necessary to construct the Project, which is expected to include: (i) removing the existing track, one long jump runway with two pits, one high jump area, and chain link fence; (ii) re-grading the existing football fields; (iii) constructing a new synthetic running track, D Zone, long jump events, and chain link fence; (iv) installing a new combined synthetic turf football and soccer field with goal post and soccer goals; (v) installing electrical conduit, wiring, data wires, time clocks, and infrastructure for scoreboard; (vi) and constructing a new underground stormwater detention system CMAR selection - Summer 2024 Construction Commencement - Late Spring 2025 Substantial Completion - Fall 2025 Firm Information Proposed Personnel Proposed Methodology Prior Project Experience & Performance Safety Record Current Capacity to Perform Compliance with Iowa and Federal Laws Tentative Contract Award by District Board 09/10/2024
