Site work, asbestos abatement and renovation of a conference / convention center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a conference / convention center; for asbestos abatement for a conference / convention center; and for the renovation of a 57,824-square-foot conference / convention center.
For work involving asbestos-containing roofing materials (ACRM) on this project, the work shall be performed in accordance with 1926.1101 (g)(8)(ii). In all cases ACRM shall be removed in an intact state to the extent feasible based on the condition of the roofing material. Asbestos-containing waste material (ACWM) shall not be dropped or thrown to the ground and must be removed and containerized no later than the end of each shift that the ACRM is removed Prepare roof system to receive the new specified overlay roof system installation, including the removal of all debris, cleaning of the surface, removal of all existing ridges, wrinkles and blisters in the existing roof membrane, grid cutting of the existing membrane if required per specifications.
