Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Anna, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

10' Trail From Luscombe Lane to Leslie Drive Including Pedestrian Bridge Crossing Slayter Creek to Connect to St. James Place Lane Trail. Contractors for this project must pay no less than the prevailing wage rates for the area established by the Owner and included in the plans and specifications. Successful Bidder shall pay or cause to be paid, without cost or expense to the City of Anna, all Social Security, Unemployment and Federal Income Withholding Taxes of all such employees and all such employees shall be paid wages and benefits as required by Federal and/or State Law. The Contractor will be permitted to prosecute the work in the order of his own choosing, provided however, the City reserves the right to require the Contractor to submit a progress schedule of the work contemplated by the contract documents. In the event the City requires a progress schedule to be submitted and it is determined by the City that the progress of the work is not in accordance with the progress schedule so submitted, the City may direct the Contractor to take such action as the City deems necessary to ensure completion of the project within the time specified. The Owner retains the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their bid as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the project with the Owner within (10) days of Notice of Award of the contract. The security must be payable to the City of Anna in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted. Contractor must execute the contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Plans and specifications. In accordance with Texas Gov't Code Sec. 2253.021, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract price and a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the total contract price Question Deadline 08/05/2024 at 5:00 PM CT NO.- 2024-0716 The engineer's estimate for the base bid is $1.17 million
