Kaufman County, Texas is requesting proposals from qualified individuals/firms for a stand-by contract for the clearance, demolition, removal, reduction, and disposal of disaster debris as directed by the County in order to eliminate immediate threat to the public health and safety. Questions deadline is June 26, 2024 at 12:00 pm Central Time If there is any question as to the specifications or any part thereof, Respondent may submit to the Kaufman County, Texas, Purchasing Agent a request for clarification. Such requests must be received a minimum of five (5) business days prior to scheduled opening date. Respondents are prohibited from contacting or communicating in any means with any consultant, employee, manager, or elected official of Kaufman County concerning this bid / proposal except for questions concerning the proposal by Respondents directed through Kaufman County Purchasing Agent by email purchasing@kaufmancounty.net. Failure to comply with this guideline could result in disqualification from the bid process. Kaufman County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, with or without cause, to waive technicalities, or to accept the bid which, in its sole judgment, best serves the interest of the County, or to award a contract to the next most qualified Respondent if a successful Respondent does not execute a contract within ten (10) business days after approval of the selection by the Kaufman County Commissioners Court. Kaufman County reserves the right to award multiple contracts as necessary and in the best interest of the County. The contract will be a twelve (12) month contract utilized on an "as needed basis" with the option to be renewed for two (2) additional twelve-month periods if mutually agreed upon by both parties, within budgetary limitations, and atthe same terms and conditions. Pricing must remain firm for the entire contract.
