Site work for a water / sewer project in Cleveland, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
CSO-249/McCracken/East 112th Sewer Improvements Project. In general, the work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals for construction of the following work: New sewer and manhole construction (storm, sanitary and combined) and rehabilitation of existing sewers utilizing cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) and spot repairs. For a more detailed description of project scope, please refer to the Contract Drawings and the rest of the Contract Documents. Any changes, additions and/or deletions resulting from this pre-bid conference will be covered in an addendum to the Contract Documents. The NEORSD will post the link to the Sharefile site on the NEORSD's Bids website. Prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to frequently monitor the Bids website for project updates and addenda. The NEORSD will not be responsible or liable for project addenda that are not received by the bidder due to incorrect or out-of-date contact information. The NEORSD reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received. Bidders shall review the Instructions to Bidders and all other contract documents prior to submitting a bid for this project. The successful Bidder also must comply with all the provisions of (a) The Davis-Bacon Act, (b) Contract Work Hours Standard Act, (c) The Copeland Act (Anti-Kickback) and (d) Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (e) the Byrd Anti-Lobbying Certification, (f) Build America, Buy America, (g) American Iron and Steel provisions Section 436 of P.L. 113-76 Consolidated Appropriations Act, and all other applicable provisions as specified in the Contract Documents. The Contract will be subject to the NEORSD policies and goals regarding the use of minority and women business enterprises (MBE/WBE). This policy is contained in the Contract Specifications. The MBE/WBE goal for this Contract is 20%. The USEPA DBE goals for this contract are: MBE = 1.3% and WBE = 1.0%. Estimate of Probable Construction Cost for CSO-249/McCracken/East 112th Sewer Improvements is $5,000,000. For this Project, NEORSD will not award a contract for any bid in excess of twenty percent (20%) above the Estimate of Probable Construction Cost. The deadline for questions is TUESDAY, JULY 9, 2024 at 5 P.M. Official Local Time.
