Renovation of a library in Asheboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

Each bid must be accompanied by a deposit of cash, a cashiers check or a certified check drawn on some bank or trust company insured by FDIC in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the bid. In lieu of making the above-described cash deposit, a bidder may file a bid bond executed by a corporate surety licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute such bonds. Contractors bidding on this project must have all necessary licenses to do the work described by the bidding documents under the laws and regulations of the State of North Carolina. The City reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. Bids may be rejected for any reason determined by the Owners governing board to be in the best interest of the City. If a contract is awarded, it will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance, and the time specified in the proposals for performance of the contract. The City also reserves the right to waive informalities.
