For the procurement and delivery to the Towns Public Works warehouse of nine (9) Diesel Generators and Automatic Transfer Switches for the following pump stations Big Boy Pump Station Cottonfield Pump Station Glendale-Kenly Pump Station Goldsboro Pump Station Little River Pump Station Railroad Street Pump Station Seventh Street Pump Station St. Marys Church Road Pump Station Yukon Street Pump Station. Pump Station & Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation / SRP-W-ARP-0099 - Contract 2 The work consists of a "find-and-fix" sewer rehabilitation and replacement project targeted on gravity sewer lines, associated manholes and service lateral connections that have the most critical I&I problems within the Kenly sewer collection system. The proposed project areas consist of approximately 54,000 LF of 8-inch and 10-inch diametersanitary sewer mains and 85 manholes. The proposed work will begin with visual inspection via closed-circuit television (CCTV) inspection of the targeted sanitary sewer lines and manholes. During the CCTV inspection process, the existing pipes will be thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Video inspection results will then be analyzed to determine sources and specific locations of inflow/infiltration due to a variety of causes such as root intrusion, broken or cracked pipe, poor joint seal, hammer service taps, etc. Based upon evaluation and prioritization of each pipe section, specific rehabilitation/repair operations will commence, targeting those areas of greatest concern first. The method of repair will be based upon specific conditions and will include options such as cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining, point repairs, open-trench pipe and manhole replacement, and cementitious manhole lining. The project will also include the renovation of nine (9) sanitary sewer pumping stations. The proposed work will include replacement of pumps, motors, controls and telemetry; installation of pre-purchased permanent standby generators and automatic transfer switches, and removal of existing units as applicable; provide and install new emergency bypass pumping connections; site work; new fencing and gates; new hooded exterior electrical equipment racks; and wetwell rehabilitation.
