B&B Electric Inc. 3000 Reilly Drive, Springfield IL (217)528-9666 is seeking qualified minority and female owned businesses for the Legacy Pointe Sports Complex Dome Foundation and Erection project subcontracting opportunities in the following areas: Electrical subcontractors, and suppliers. This project calls for the construction of a "public work" within the meaning of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820ILCS 130/00.1 et seq. (the "Prevailing Wage Act"). This project is also subject to a Project Labor Agreement entered into between the owner and the Central Illinois Building and Trades Council. Contractors performing work for the project must be participants in applicable apprenticeship and training programs approved by and registered with the United States Department of Labor's Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training.
