This Project consists of the installation (boring/trenching) of approximately 5,700 feet of 3- phase 750 Al 15kV cable in 6" conduit, approximately 525 feet of 3- phase 1/0 Al 15kV in 4" conduit, approximately 3,735 feet of 1-phase 1/0 Al 15kV cable in 2" conduit, approximately 1,400 feet of 350 Al 600V UGTPX in 3" conduit and approximately 600 feet of 4/0 Al 600V UGTPX in 3" conduit. The project also includes the installation of 6 pad-mounted 3-phase switchgear, 12 single-phase pad-mounted transformers, 21 wood poles, 6 three-phase risers, 7 single-phase risers, 14 secondary risers and 4 secondary pedestals. The existing poles and overhead conductors will be removed within the immediate vicinity of the proposed underground construction, including approximately 55 wood poles, approximately 4,500 feet of primary lines and associated facilities. All materials shall be furnished by the Owner, with the exception of all necessary conduits and stone material for the backfilling of new poles. Bids shall include a completed Indiana State Form 96 accompanied by a certified check or bid bond of not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum total amount of the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Contractor's Bond for 100% of the proposal price and a Certificate of Insurance. All work shall be completed by May 2, 2025. Completion after the deadline will be subject to a $250/day penalty The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities in bidding and bid specifications.
