The Lawrence Redevelopment Authority (LRA) through its Urban Renewal Plan is authorized to take a range of actions to address disinvested and under utilized neighborhoods and substandard, decadent, and blighted conditions to create the environment needed to promote sound growth and attract and support private investment in its designated urban renewal area. The LRA actions may include developing, co-developing, selling, and/or acquiring properties. Project Identification: Alterations and Renovations to Unit Hydro, Pacific Mills Lofts. 1. Project Location: 300 Canal Street Lawrence, Massachusetts 01840. B. Owner: Lawrence Redevelopment Authority. 1. Owner's Representative: Octavien Spanner. C. Architect: Bennie Ber, AIA d/b/a NehoKoooDah. D. Contractor: TBD E. The Work consists of the following: 1. The Work includes Selective interior demolition as indicated, TYPE OF CONTRACT A. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract. USE OF PREMISES A. General: Contractor shall have limited use of premises for construction operations as indicated on Drawings by the Contract limits. B. Use of Site: Limit use of premises to work in areas indicated. Do not disturb portions of Project site beyond areas in which the Work is indicated. 1. Driveways and Entrances: Keep driveways and entrances serving premises clear and available to Owner, Owner's employees, and emergency vehicles at all times. Do not use these areas for parking or storage of materials. a. Schedule deliveries to minimize use of driveways and entrances. C. Use of Existing Building: Maintain existing building in a weathertight condition throughout construction period. Repair damage caused by construction operations. Protect building and its occupants during construction period
