Generally, the project consists of constructing a concrete sidewalk along Old Bridge Road from the Oakwood Drive (Rte.2150) to Forest Hill Road (Rte.2183). The project includes the construction of 860 feet of a five-foot-wide concrete sidewalk, with the approximate 4.5-foot buffer strip between the proposed curb and gutter and sidewalk and 1.0-foot bench behind the sidewalk. The purpose of the project is to provide improved pedestrian access, safety, and connectivity in this corridor. A Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of 7% is established. In accordance with Prince William County Procurement Regulations, the County reserves the right to reject any bids, waive informalities and irregularities in bidding, and to accept bids, which are, in consideration, in the best interest of the County. Bid open description: The use of streaming video for bid openings is provided as a convenience for bidders. Should the steaming link access be unavailable or fail during a bid opening, it does not nullify the validity of the process or results.
