Site work for a power facility in Galveston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a power facility.

The Port of Galveston requests proposals from experienced and qualified microgrid companies to provide turnkey development, design, construction, ownership, operations, maintenance, and transfer of a new resilient pilot microgrid. Question Deadline 06/21/2024 at 2:00 PM CT Questions shall be submitted electronically. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all of the bids, in whole or in part, and to accept the bid or bids, in whole or in part, for any reason or to negotiate with any and all bidders and waive any informality in bids received. Bidder(s) may withdraw their bid, either personally or by written request, at any time prior to the scheduled time for the bid opening. The Galveston Wharves may hold the bids for 60 days after the date set for the opening without making a decision and the bidder(s) may not withdraw their bid(s) within that time. Questions must be submitted online through the Port of Galveston e-Procurement Portal, https://portofgalveston.bonfirehub.com. The Port will no longer accept solicitation questions via e-mail. (Oral instructions or information concerning the RFP given by Galveston Wharves staff or personnel will not bind Galveston Wharves and should not be considered authoritative when assembling Responses.) All questions and answers will be posted on Galveston Wharves eProcurement Portal. Any questions specifically regarding vendor registration may be directed to purchasing@portofgalveston.com.
