Demolition and site work for a residential development in Stonington, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The Stonington Park District is accepting bids for the removal of property located at 201 W. North St. in Stonington II. Bids should include pricing for the demolition and removal of the house located at said address including all contents inside. Note: the garage on the north end of the property will not be demolished and should not be considered in the bidding process. The brick foundation and concrete may be used as base backfill, with further back fill to be clean one inch rock to within 4 to 6 inches of ground level and, 4 to 6 inches of clean black dirt to finish grade as well as clean black dirt to level entire lot. Prices for rock and dirt back fill should be provided in the bid. The bid should also include pricing for the removal of trees and stumps on the property and any additional clean black dirt required to fill and level holes. The exterior of the property may be viewed at any time at 201 W. North St., Stonington, II. The property will be open to view the interior, and a representative of the park district will be present on Monday, June 24th from 4 until 6 pm to answer any questions. Stonington Park District reserves the right to refuse any and all bids.
