The proposed project, detailed in the construction plans and specifications, is generally described as: Expand Apron: Final Grading and Paving at the Indy South Greenwood Airport. Expand apron: final grading and paving includes the expansion of the apron with new Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement, the installation of a new drainage inlet, final grading of apron shoulders, apron lighting, and relocation of taxiway edge lights, associated work and incidental items. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and material necessary to complete the work. Bid Bond, Performance & Payment Bonds. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Greenwood Board of Aviation Commissioners, or a satisfactory bid bond, executed by the Bidder and an approved surety company in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid proposal. Contractors awarded a contract will be required to furnish acceptable performance and payment surety bonds in the amount of 100% of the awarded contract price. The guarantee period of performance shall extend for one (1) year from the date of final acceptance of the work by the Owner.
