Renovation of an educational facility in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 900-square-foot educational facility.
Estimated Cost $45,000.00 Contractor Qualification Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The Holyoke School Department is soliciting proposals for the painting of 13 classrooms that includes all the walls within, the doors and doorframes in each room. Each classroom has an average of two doors each and the each of the classrooms itself has a floor area of roughly 900 square feet with 9-foot-tall ceilings. Federal Funds may be used respondents will be verified for their eligibility. City reserves the right to reject any and all quotes. Scope of Work: 1. Provide the necessary means and methods to paint the 13 classrooms walls, doors, and door jambs. 2. Provide a quality, durable interior paint for both the walls, doors, and door jambs. The colors and sheens are TBD later. 3. Provide the proper installation of the products per the manufacturers installation instructions. 4. Provide any building permits if needed to the building department and post them in the correct location. 5. Maintain a clean work area, working with the owner for storage of materials and equipment. 6. Provide a punch list walkthrough with the Maintenance Administrator when the job has been completed. Correct any items identified and once completed, final job completion will be satisfactory per the schools assigned representative.
