Performance of selective demolition of 45 ft. of structural 12" block wall; approximately 5 courses from top. Addition of vertical steel reinforcement and subsequent grouting where possible. Reconstruction of approximately 45 ft. of demolished wall section with new 12" concrete block and type S mortar. Form and pour new 4000 psi, steel reinforced concrete cap. Installation of 45 feet of ADA compliant railing which will be provided by district. (Upon completion of inspection of air exchanger cavity below concrete ramp and supported by aforementioned wall to determine structural shoring needs and demolition process); In order to remove compromised and failing wall sections for reconstruction. Addition of vertical steel reinforcement and subsequent grouting where possible of remaining wall prior to reconstruction. Reconstruction of approximately 45 feet of demolished wall section with new 12" concrete block and type S mortar (to base of ramp). Reconstructed wall will feature vertical steel reinforcement @48" increments, anchored into remaining wall and featuring full length horizontal bond beam course with continuous rebar @ existing to new wall transition height. Form and pour new 4000 psi, steel reinforced concrete cap with 1 1/2 " overhang atop block wall @ completed height.
