Description and Location Public right of away roughly defined as the area between the street curb and end of the driveway approach/property line at roughly twelve (12) feet on collector (neighborhood) roads. also defined as fifty (50) feet from the venter line of the road on arterial (main) roads (or to the fence line). Does not include those areas of public right of away regularly maintained by other housing complexes. SW 61st Street from SW 20th Ave to the road end, including the entrance sign, concrete median, and retention pond SW 12th Place, SW 61st Terrace SW 62nd Terrace, SW 11th Place, SW 10th Place SW 60th Terrace, SW 10th Place, SW 59th Terrace, SW 9th Place SW 63rd Terrace SW 20th Ave & SW 61st Street (Linton Oaks Entrance Sign Landscape Maintenance Only) SW 8th Ave & SW 67th Terrace (Gordon Manor Entrance Sign Landscape Maintenance only) SW 8th Ave & SW 70th Terrace (Holly Heights Entrance Sign Landscape Maintenance only) SW 67th Ter, SW 68th Ter, SW 69th Ter, SW 70th Ter, SW 4th Pl, 5th Pl, SW 6th Pl, SW 69th St, (Gordon Manor and Holly Heights) 5.2. Services Required Grass Cutting along Public Right-A-Way - (Linton Oaks only) Landscape Maintenance - (Linton Oaks, Gordon Manor, and Holly Heights) Mowing of public right-a-ways once every two weeks. Mow at a uniform height of no more than 6 inches. During each mowing, trim around all items in the right-a-way including signs, fences, trees and driveways. Edge along all plant beds, parking lots, and street to maintain a distinct, clean edge. Replace plants and replace mulch, provided by the County, twice each year. Fertilize the planting bed twice each year. Weed planting bed at entrance sign of neighborhoods (SW 20th Ave & SW 61st St), (SW 8th Ave & SW 67th Ter), and (SW 8th Ave & SW 70th Ter), once a month Weed planting bed at entrance sign of neighborhood (SW 20th Ave. & SW 61st Street), once each month Air-blow all hard surfaces to remove dirt, leaves, and grass clippings. Removal of debris/trash should be two times each week, will work on schedule with vendor Debris and Litter Pick-up - (Linton Oaks only) Remove debris, trash, leaves, and tree limbs from all public right-a-ways 2 times each month, will work on schedule with vendor Debris removal from concrete median Pick up all trash, limbs, and other debris, which would be scattered by mowing and place in a contractor provided container. Remove trash bin(s) from curbside as needed and place in the appropriate area. Pick up all trash and removal of debris/trash (bottles, cans, plastic wrappers, paper, Styrofoam, etc excluding appliances, electronics, furniture, demolition/renovation waste), branches and limbs (no longer than four (4) feet in length, no more than six (6) inches in diameter, and no more than 40 pounds. Additions To Contract The County reserves the option to add or delete locations within the scope of the bid, based on the hourly bid rate and accepting a mutually agreed on price which must be approved by the Procurement Division or by obtaining such items via the County's regular Procurement Procedures, as deemed in the best interest of the County.
