The City of Deerfield Beach is soliciting sealed responses from qualified vendors for the NW 45th St. and Crystal Lake Drive Drainage Improvements in accordance with the terms, conditions, scope of work, drawings and technical specifications of the above mentioned Invitation to Bid Construction. City of Deerfield Beach, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, will receive sealed bids from individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other legal entities authorized to do business in the State of Florida, to provide drainage improvements, as specified in this Invitation to Bid to include construction and installation of a storm sewer drainage system, construction of a new outfall structure, exfiltration trenching, and restoration of driveways and right of way (ROW). Questions and Answers: The City provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through eProcurment by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The City will respond to all questions via eProcurement. Licensing Requirements: The Vendor must possess Florida State General Contractor's license or current certificate of competency issued by Broward County Examining Board having jurisdiction over licensing of Contractors in the type of work involved in this contract. Refer to Qualification of Bidders for additional information. a Bid Security: Each submittal shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty, or other acceptable alternative, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount (Refer to Section IV - Special Terms and Conditions - Bid Security, Performance and Payment Guaranties, and Qualifications of Surety Requirements). The City of Deerfield Beach is exempt from Federal and State Taxes for tangible personal property tax. The City of Deerfield Beach reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals, in whole or in part, with or without cause, to waive any irregularities and/or technicalities, and to award the contract on such coverage and terms it deems will best serve the interests of the City. Question Deadline 06/28/2024 at 11:59 AM ET Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, bonds, travel, and supplies to construct the proposed improvements for the NW 45th Street and Crystal Lake Drive Drainage Improvements Project. The proposed improvements include, but are not limited to, the construction and installation of more than 4,750 linear feet of a storm sewer drainage system along NW 45th Street and Crystal Lake Drive in the City of Deerfield Beach in accordance with the plans and specifications in this ITBC Exhibit I. The proposed improvements also include the construction of a new outfall structure into Crystal Lake, exfiltration trenching, restoration of residential driveways and miscellaneous right of-way restoration work resulting from storm drainage pipe installation.
