Purchase and Delivery of Calcium Oxide (High Calcium Quicklime) In case of tie bids, the City will award based on the priority factors outlined in the City Purchasing Policy. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, or to accept any bid or part thereof deemed to be in the best interest of the City. No bid may be withdrawn after scheduled closing time for receiving bids. Based on available storage capacity and plant flows, the City anticipates that it will require approximately 25 to 27 tons per shipment, shipments may be requested every 4 to 6 days. This projection is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as a minimum purchase requirement. The successful bidder shall coordinate the final amount prior to delivery. It is anticipated the PO will be for the full amount of the estimated quantity starting July 1, 2024 , through June 30, 2025. At which time, a determination will be made as to whether the product will be rebid or go month-to-month. The Eagle Point Water Plant is a secure, fenced area. Access to the unloading site will be through one of two gates that are remotely monitored and operated. It shall be the sole responsibility of the Bidder to inspect the site to assess the logistics for positioning a transport vehicle, connecting to the water plant's unloading system and transferring the product to the City's storage vessel.
