Renovation of a medical facility in Longueuil, Quebec. Design plans call for the renovation of a 10,150-square-foot, one-story above grade medical facility.
The third phase of upgrades and improvements to the Hospital birthing unit - project IM-PB-1613. The scope of work includes the modernization and upgrades of birth services at Hôpital Pierre-Boucher. The works of the third phase relate to the reorganization of the birth services and will be carried out on the 3rd floor of North and South wings of the Hospital. The work area being 940 m2, the project provides for the upgrades of ten TARP rooms (labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum) with a bathroom at the North wing, the development of four new guard rooms in the South wing; two antenatal observation rooms; one teaching room; one staff room and two administrative offices. The redevelopment of the South and North wings will require modifications to the electromechanical systems of these areas. TIMELINE: The project design is on hold at the awarded architectural professional consultant pending the owner's permission to begin. Preliminary studies are underway. Timelines of further project development will be finalized at a later time. Further update in summer 2025.
